The Camp Kwasind Vision
To develop and nurture Christian faith and relationships through effective programs in a safe, exciting and natural environment
Our Statement of Faith
 This is one God who has created all that is and who loves us with an everlasting love. This love is revealed to us supremely through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Lord. He is one with God and is the Saviour who, through His death and resurrection, has redeemed us to God from our sin.
The Holy Spirit is one with God and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is God present in the world and who leads people to saving faith by being born again into new life in Christ.
The Bible, written by human hands, is the word of God and has been given to us by the inspiration of God. It is the standard of all Christian doctrine. We subject to its authoritative judgement all we believe and do.
Our Christian faith is a gift of God. It is trust in God. It involves personal repentance of sin, acceptance of Jesus Christ as saviour, and commitment to Him as Lord. Our Christian Faith also includes assent to the truth of the Gospel.
The Church is universal; the body of Christ, the redeemed believers in Christ on whom it is founded. We, the church are called together by God’s spirit under the Lordship of Christ to worship and serve God, God’s people, and the world through deeds of love and mercy.

Camp Kwasind is proudly affiliated with the Baptist Convention of Ontario and Quebec and is a fully accredited member of Christian Camping International and the Ontario Camping Association.

Our Executive Director
Camp Kwasind is fortunate to have a devoted and gifted individual at the helm of the camp operations. Following many years in the live theatre industry, David Scott has taken his love for Camp Kwasind and his love for serving the Lord and turned them into a passionate pursuit of Christian camping excellence. Along with his wife Nancey and their family, David’s more than forty years of involvement with Kwasind has charged him to move the camp forward to the next level.

Prayer Updates
Please pray:
- That the right staff would be hired to do the important work in leading at the camp this summer
- For the groups that will be coming to Kwasind this year. Pray for their preparation and planning, and also for the fund raising for the work that they will be doing.
- About the campers who will be coming to camp during the summer months. Pray that they will truly enjoy their experience and gain a better first-hand knowledge of Christ.
- For the people who will be teaching the message of Christ at camp. That they will know the words to say and the message that needs to be heard by those present.
